Jon Kimball, President/Owner

Jon Kimball comes from a produce industry family. Growing up, he always knew he'd follow in the footsteps of his father, Scott Kimball & uncle, Tim Kimball. At the tender age of 2, Jon would accompany his dad to the market often. His earliest memories were of how fast and calculated every aspect of the market worked. He was intrigued by how the forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks operated and how everyone communicated with a lot of moving parts to get a positive end result. Learning hard work and success doesn’t come easy, at 15 Jon started working graveyard in the summer at a local produce company as a warehouseman. From there he did order entry, driving, street buying, quality control, warehouse management, and then outside sales. In September 2006, he began working for a small produce brokerage. He decided after 11 years it was time to move on. With much support from family & friends, his hustle and grind finally paid off. September 4th, 2017 Jon made his dream come true and Kimball Produce Sales Inc. was born.

Danielle Brenner, Sales Manager

Produce runs through Danielle Brenner’s blood with a family history going back to her grandfather, Francis Marzetta, and father, Hans Brenner who both worked at the South City Market for many years. Danielle’s professional career path began after she completed 1 year at the College of San Mateo where she played softball on a collegiate level. At the age of 19, Danielle began working as a Customer Service Representative for a big conference planning company. She spent over 14 years in the Event Marketing/Conference planning industry as a Project Manager where she managed over 10,000 attendee events. Over the years, traveling took away precious time from Danielle’s only son so she decided to take a leap and get into Sales. The stars aligned and her childhood friend (Jon) offered her a job in the Produce Industry.

Brian Vasil , Category Manager

Brain Vasil, Category Manager

With three decades in the produce industry, Brian has built a career rooted in hard work, long term relationships, and a genuine love for the business. He has spent 30 years married to his wife Maria, and together they’ve raised two incredible daughters who are now out building lives of their own.

When he’s not working, you can usually find Brian at the golf club three times a week if he’s lucky enjoying the game and the friendships it has brought into his life. Between the produce world and golf, he has been fortunate to surround himself with a strong circle of friends who make the journey that much better.

Jordan Salgado, Marketing Director

Growing up in Pacifica, California, Jordan Salgado cultivated a strong passion for both baseball and basketball. During his high school years, he set his sights on competing at the collegiate level in basketball. He went on to attend Canada College in Redwood City, where he pursued a degree in Kinesiology while actively playing on the Men’s Basketball Team.

In 2020, the pandemic disrupted his plans, leading him to a role as a Program Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club. Shortly after resuming his training, Jordan suffered a significant ACL injury. Embracing the philosophy that “things happen for a reason,” Jordan was accepted into Menlo College in Menlo Park and offered the new position of Athletic Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club. This pivotal opportunity presented him with a significant decision: whether to continue his basketball career or focus on advancing his education.

Jordan graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Business, concentrating on Sports Management. Currently, he serves as the Marketing Director at Kimball Produce Sales Inc., where he leads initiatives in social media marketing and drives brand engagement in a dynamic market.
