Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to oversee and develop our new product categories. The ideal candidate will focus on growing new business opportunities, demonstrate the ability to self-motivate and drive sales, and build long-lasting industry relationships.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in produce sales
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships within the industry
- Comprehensive understanding of the produce industry including logistics, distribution, and the specific needs of growers and end-users
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to drive sales
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing directions and decisions
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Established produce brokers/shippers preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow new business opportunities within the produce industry
- Demonstrate self-motivation and drive sales initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, brokers, and clients
- Develop and implement effective category strategies
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers, brokers, and internal teams on logistics, distribution, and customer needs
- Conduct negotiations to maximize profitability
- Monitor category performance and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies
- Adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively
- In person customer engagement and service
Compensation:
- Salary and commission combined earning potential of $150,000+ annually but no ceiling
- Competitive compensation for established salesman

Job Description:
As a Produce Sales Associate at Kimball Produce Sales Inc., you will play a key role in assisting with the growth and management of our current and future citrus sales operation. This position is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about building relationships in the fresh produce industry.
You will be responsible for managing accounts, prospecting new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, shippers, and internal teams. This role requires a high level of organization, multitasking, and follow-through to maintain service excellence and drive sales.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities
- Must be proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
Key Responsibilities:
