Produce runs through Danielle Brenner’s blood with a family history going back to her grandfather, Francis Marzetta, and father, Hans Brenner who both worked at the South City Market for many years. Danielle’s professional career path began after she completed 1 year at the College of San Mateo where she played softball on a collegiate level. At the age of 19, Danielle began working as a Customer Service Representative for a big conference planning company. She spent over 14 years in the Event Marketing/Conference planning industry as a Project Manager where she managed over 10,000 attendee events. Over the years, traveling took away precious time from Danielle’s only son so she decided to take a leap and get into Sales. The stars aligned and her childhood friend (Jon) offered her a job in the Produce Industry.

Jordan Salgado, Marketing Director

Growing up in Pacifica, California, Jordan Salgado cultivated a strong passion for both baseball and basketball. During his high school years, he set his sights on competing at the collegiate level in basketball. He went on to attend Canada College in Redwood City, where he pursued a degree in Kinesiology while actively playing on the Men’s Basketball Team.

In 2020, the pandemic disrupted his plans, leading him to a role as a Program Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club. Shortly after resuming his training, Jordan suffered a significant ACL injury. Embracing the philosophy that “things happen for a reason,” Jordan was accepted into Menlo College in Menlo Park and offered the new position of Athletic Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club. This pivotal opportunity presented him with a significant decision: whether to continue his basketball career or focus on advancing his education.

Jordan graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Business, concentrating on Sports Management. Currently, he serves as the Marketing Director at Kimball Produce Sales Inc., where he leads initiatives in social media marketing and drives brand engagement in a dynamic market.
